Are you an aspiring Storyteller? Here's an opportunity to practice and do good at the same time! The KidneySG Human Library is an innovative and interactive concept where people volunteer as "human books" and share their kidney health journey stories with "readers" (i.e., event participants) through open, honest conversations. These stories can be about how to keep your kidneys healthy, living with diabetes (the single biggest cause of kidney failure) or the challenges and social stigma of being a dialysis patient and caregiver. The Human Library has a small collection of books right now, who are largely dialysis patients, their caregivers or volunteers. Our target is to signup 1,000 human books by end of the year. It's free to be a KidneySG book and we will work with you to understand how you would like to tell your kidney health journey stories: - in person lunchtime sharing at your company's premises; - over Zoom or Teams; or - anywhere, anytime suitable. Be a KidneySG book and let your pages tell a difference.
